Bozeman Paymaster Receives Wyoming Award

Bozeman Paymaster: A Tale of the Fetterman Massacre has been awarded first place in the Publications: Fiction Category by the Wyoming State Historical Society for 2023.

I plan to travel to Cody, Wyoming, to participate in the 70th Annual Meeting of the society to personally receive the award on September 9, 2023. I will offer autographed copies of the book for sale following the award ceremony. The book is available in hardcover, paperback, and large print editions, as well as a Kindle version.

This is my second book to receive the first place award from the WSHS. Bear Claws, The Iron Horse Chronicles–Book Two was awarded first place in 2016.

I extend my sincere appreciation to the Wyoming State Historical Society for bestowing this award on my book about the Fetterman Massacre which took place in what is now Wyoming in 1866.
