I am proud to be an American as we celebrate the 250th birthday of the greatest nation on earth. I hope the frontier historical novels that I have written over the past decade emphasize the importance of the capitalistic republic that our forefathers fought so hard to create.
It is sad to see the hard swing to the left in the Democratic Party. Every place socialism or communism has been tried, the experiments have failed. I find it ironic that the leftist protesters insist they have the right to demand the USA be changed into a system that prohibits protests.
Let us hope that when the mid-term elections occur, the anti-American candidates who have recently won primary elections will be thrown into the dustbin of history.
